Aruba Blue Ionizer/ Salt System is a device that uses ionization along with the addition of salt to sanitize and disinfect pool water. It works by releasing positively charged ions, copper, silver and nickel into the water. These ions are effective at controlling the growth of algae, bacteria, and other microorganisms in the pool.
Ionization Process: By releasing ions, copper, silver and nickel into the pool water, they will act as an algaecide, bactericide and water softeners inhibiting the growth of microorganisms that can make the water cloudy or unsanitary.
- Reduced Chemical Use: Our System will reduce the need for traditional chemical treatments like chlorine. Weekly just add 1 bag of Shimmer N Shock per 10,000 gallon of water and run the Aruba Blue System. Maintain proper pH Level of 7.2 – 7.4 and Total Alkalinity of 80-100 PPM
- Algae Control: Copper ions, in particular, are effective at preventing algae growth. The ions disrupt the cellular structure of algae, hindering their ability to grow and reproduce.

- Less Irritation: Pool water treated with Arbua Blue is gentler on the skin and eyes compared to water treated with higher levels of chlorine.
- Installation and Maintenance: Aruba Blue is typically installed on the pool's circulation system, and may require occasional maintenance, such as checking and adjusting ion levels. It's important to follow the manufacturer's guidelines for proper installation and maintenance. Then Set it and forget it!
